One of the many reasons I have a GPS tracker on all my vehicles, including the Camaro.

Yeah. That doesn't sound like a really high number to me. I wouldn't think rates would be effected because of this. (Bu I could be wrong)

Its just a numbers game.

Were there more Camaros stolen, yes. However, there are also far more Camaros in that year range that have been sold and are out there on the streets when compared to the other 2 models, so of course the number for the Camaro will be higher.

Well, it goes to say that it is by far the more popular car for both sides.

I had boomerang installed which comes with a fob for my keys. If my car rolls more than 15 feet without the fob in it, I immediately get a call and they send people out after it.

Glad to see this now. Funny enough I caught someone looking in my car window a week ago. I yelled from my balcony and scared the snit out of them. I then proceeded to run down stairs and chase them. Was able to get ahold of the little snit too. Cops came and took him away. In Vermont where I am I see this kid looking for valuables inside the car not stealing it. The drug problem around here is rampant (I beleive higher than most of the country). Either way the first thing he said when I grabbed him was "Don't hit me!". I almost chuckled. Took him away for attempted braking and entering as he left his dirty finger prints on my clean windows and door handle so he certainly tried to open the door. I see him getting unlawful mischief before anything or tresspassing. He will probably have to pay a small fine and be set free is my bet. I work for Department of Corrections here and deal with these scumbags everyday. Sigh.......

I think we're okay here, I have heard many people on this site say that the Camaro is not a sports car.

I drive to work through a town that is pretty notorious for car jackings, always unsettling when stopped at a red light, although they would have a very bad day if they tried, my job let's me carry the ultimate anti theft device

one is too many.

Car Thieves, like Horse Thieves before them, should be publicly hung.

Too bad there isn't a device to sever fingers off and leave evidence like this story:

Oh great, now instead of thinking the stares are about admiring the car I will have to consider maybe they are just sizing it up!
