New personal best 12.238

Some issues with the car ( solenoids ) tonight or I would have had even a better number to show, but I'm closing in on that 12.00. Maybe next year I'll get it. Once again let me say thanks to everybody when I was ready to quit to help me stay with it. Matt@FSP, GretchenGotGrowl, Rhino79, HDRS and others.

10/26/2013 Update, Found the front two cylinders on the drivers side spark plugs ground straps gone. These are the same two cylinders earlier this year that got destroyed while running the spray. Compression showed good all 6 cylinders at 150. Sending my datalog out and see where things are from here. *** Note I upped the nitrous to 140 WITHOUT me waiting for Matt to check my short test runs and see if I need to change things. So this all on me, NOT MATT. *** I saw on my short runs A/Fs in the low 11s so I went for it.

Congrats Rick!!!! Sorry about the plugs though, don't know why I didn't have that problem running the 140, but then again I didn't run 12.2's !!!!

Switching out plugs Autolite XP5263 plugs for the NGK LT7IX-11. NGK states they are 1 heat range colder than the stock plug. I have spent many hours talking to spark plug manufacturers and NGK was the ONLY ONE willing to spend some serious time with me on the phone. No other company has anything except stock heat range plugs that they list for my car. NGK did say they do not recommend over a 75 shot with these plugs, like I'm going to listen. :-) Now I have heard of another smaller company making "colder" plugs but I'll stick with the big dogs for my plugs right now. Not sure if I will make any other runs at the track this year or not.

Johnny, YES that devil is yelling in my ear to go for it. I think I'm going to do my 3.91s and get this stuff straight for next year. Matt looked at my datalog form that 12.23 pass and my fuel pressure was in the low 40PSI range. I need to find a fix for that to stay with the 140 or go back to my 100 setup.

Yes on nitrous.
