Haha right? Lol. Can't wait man. I don't think mine even has to get on a train. It's only an 8 hour drive for me.

My dealer is showing my car on there site like its for sale? vin 2G1FS1EW1E9195927. Weird. Im wondering if they have a more up to date system than what becky is using? either way still dont understand why its listed on there site like its for sale to anyone will call tommorow to find out.

yeah, seems kind of strange that they're basically being built in reverse order from when they were ordered. On the other hand, mine went straight to 4B00 status from 3400... skipped 3800. So maybe they're not updating the statuses of the cars correctly? Who knows. Can't be that long till it says yours is built!

I'm also guessing that they only wrap the hoods on monday-friday. Which means my car is going to sit there until AT LEAST tuesday or wednesday before it ships. Which means I probably wont get it until Friday/Saturday.. In which case, I'll have to wait until the next week to get it anyway because I work both days... Unless I can work something out with my boss.

And I spoke to my dealership today and it took him literally 45 minutes to find any information on my order, even put me on hold and went outside to see if it was there... "Was it a 1LT Convertible?" "...No... Black, 1SS 1LE, NOT 1LT." "Right, so you had the 1SS 1LT." "NO..." I went on to explain to him that the 1LT is the V6 model, and the 1LE is the Performance SS package. And this was the sales manager... What a ****ing moron. Eventually he was just like "I'll leave a message with Kim (My sales person) and have her call you Monday morning." I want to know how the **** so many dealerships can get away with having sales people, especially sales managers, who are CLUELESS as to the product they sell. Seriously. I'm the sales manager for my store, and if I was caught not knowing what one of our products were, or not knowing how to find information about a customer order, I would be fired on the spot!

But I digress, this is all speculation and we'll have to see when the cars actually come in. Who knows, with my work schedule, you may have yours first! Time will tell!

I had to go back and edit my post after seeing my car with a vin # on my dealers page. I am guessing that the site is being updated at diffrent times or something like that. As far as your dealer goes i agree 100%. That is ridicules to not even know what car you ordered or what cars they have I feel the same about mine, as listed in my post they have it listed for sale like I didnt order that car and go there and give them the deposit wtf. Im not too worried about getting my car by tommorow but it would be nice if the process didnt take so long. oh well we will all be cruising soon. On a side note I work across the street from a race track (formely Morroso now Palm Beach International Raceway) and went to a Camaro event last night and there were a few car clubs there and not one of them had the 1LE so kinda cool to get something thats not quite as common as the SS's that are all over the place. Oh yeah and on a positive note they have a road couse right next to there drag strip. Im dying to see how these cars willl handle.

I would kill to work right across the street from a place like that! I have about a 20 minute drive to Pittsburgh Raceway Park, and a MUCH further drive to any half decent road course.

The worse thing about working across the street is I work 2nd shift 3-11 and I have to listen to all the cars racing all night it really sucks when they have the Top Fuels I dont get to see them but they shake the entire place when they run. I am a firefighter for Pratt Whitney so the other thing is I would love to be running calls over there (free admission lol) but they have there own in house department.
