I can't believe it will be released like that. It looks like an after thought.

On the Jay Leno test drive, Al says it is bolted on for different race tracks.

I like it remonds me of the DEI 2011 Camaro SS spoiler.

I think it looks awesome, I just hope there are molded in threaded inserts to facilitate repeatable attach/detach. If its just screwed into the plastic spoiler then I would be disappointed.

That's makes perfect sense to me. I swear GM could give this car away and someone would complaint about on . It must be that a lot of people are butt hurt that GM made their cars inferior with this one. I have a ZL1 and I love it. I also realize that this is way more of a car than mine. I'm okay with that, and I hope to somehow get a hold of one. I highly doubt I will be able to though in knowing how much trouble I had purchasing My ZL1. I'm sure only celebs and performance shops will be getting these awesome cars.

It's perfect. This is what I would expect of a race car. I was expecting an adjustable front wicker also

...the pics from SEMA on the rear spoiler were the first I have seen with an adjustable rear spoiler, pretty cool, nothing on the front splitter though. And why. It's a straight forward air foil air under and inside design. Quite a snout no doubt.

I don't get why they couldn't have done something like the T4 spoiler instead of just "bolting" on this extension....

I love the blade extension. Who gives a crap if its bolted on or not. It serves a purpose, and gives it that raw look to it similar to NASCAR cars. I believe the Carbon Edition ZL1 which was at SEMA 2012 had a blade extension as well and there was supposed to be a company making one but not sure how that turned out.

Plenty of spoilers out there to choose from. Fabricate your own spoiler if you don't like what's being released.

The stainless steel blade extension for the ZL1 Carbon Fiber edition was built into the spoiler. If you removed it the area where it bolts onto is recessed. It also bolted on from the bottom.

And I'm not bashing the extension - I just don't get why it wasn't incorporated into the spoiler from the beginning versus being an afterthought. I'm all for having more down force.
