Tried the search didn't find an answer

The GM parts guy i am dealing with is saying that you can buy the ZL1 ring & pinion without buying the complete assembly

if this is true can you do the swap or do you have to swap the complete diff assembly & is it a direct swap if it is possible .

I ordered the new ring pinion and bearings from GM and had a local tranny shop intstall

My car is getting the auto rearend swapped right now. I'm pretty certain Andy is doing the entire diff and not just the ring gears. He will have a manual set-up laying around if someone needs it.....

I shifted to 5th on my fast run. I would have been faster had it stayed in 4th.
I think 3.73's would slow me down. Now if I was a turbo car maybe that makes sense to get going.

You should get Andy to bubble wrap your car.

Maybe some coon skinned seat covers?

Twin PT6466 turbos. RPM custom manual trans, RPS Quad carbon clutch, 9" Hendrix rear diff & axles. ADM/squash fuel system, Ron Davis radiator, Spal fans, AGP air to air, turbo plumbing. LPE oil cooler, rear bushing upgrade, roll bar...etc. rwhp 1400+... 212.5mph, best Texas mile to date.
