Do 2012+ have Oil coolers? Coolant return?

Considering doing a L99 oil cooler delete on my 2011 Camaro and notice that the upper radiator hose on the 2012 does NOT have the "T" that the oil cooler return line goes to for the 2011's. Do the 2012's have oil cooler? If so, where does the coolant return go now? Anyone actually done this delete without adding an auxially air oil cooler? If so, any issues?
Thanks for any info.

I recently looked into this as mine crapped out bigtime at the track. Dealer fixed mine but I will look for the parts to delete mine and have that as an option in the future.

My 2012 2SS/RS has the oil cooler. There are lines that wrap around the sides of the block that go up and around to the passenger side from what I can tell.

They changed the RAD in 2012 SS models. The rad cap locations is now off-center and the upper rad hose is a 1-piece design without the break in the middle with the 'T' section.

If youd like, i can take a picture of my engine bay and post it here?

Without seeing the 2012+ MY, I'm just trying to figure out where the oil cooler coolant return line goes too since it is NOT to the older upper radiator "t". Can you tell where they end and/or connect to?

Thanks. Would be appreciated. This pic from another members thread shows the routing on the 2011. The part #17 HAS to go somewhere

I noticed the same thing the other day preparing to install a aftermarket oil cooler. On my 14. The T has been eliminated and part #17 returns at the bottom of the radiator on the drivers side. See attached pic, it's the hose on the right.

THATS where that little sucker goes now. I'm guessing I don't have the option to route my Oil Cooler coolant return line to this location without replacing the entire radiator as well. I'll check to see if there is a "plugged" inlet port on my 2011 when I get home, but guessing there is not.

Not an issue if I decide to go ahead and delete the whole Oil cooler anyway. Still looking for input from those who have.

Yup i just checked mine too. #17 goes directly to the bottom of the radiator and the other end of the coolant port from the oil cooler actually goes directly into the drivers side of the block from what i could see when I just took a look.

Let me upload the pics I just took.

Are you simply wanting to get rid of the factory cooler set up or are you going aftermarket?

Only reason I'm asking is that it helps get your oil to temp quicker for improved emissions, power and engine longevity, however if your switching to an aftermarket cooler because you have oil temp problems like I do at the track then it's a good upgrade.

Here's the pics I just took...

Hopefully that helps. I added a couple others to show like the upper rad hose placement as well as the rad cap location..to kinda showcase the difference in the rad and lines.

Have a slight leak at the block connection; probably could be resolved with new gasket. However, considered removing everything all together for asthetics (looks). There seems to be a big swing from left to right as far as who thinks it's needed or not. I will only track my car on a rare occasion, and it is NOT driven in the fall/winter, so will NOT be needing an aftermarket oil cooler.

It will deffenately clean it up... factory 'cooler' is ugly.
