I figured a standing mile would be easier on trans and crank only because you wouldn't be trying to launch so hard.

He was tipping in at around 3000 RPM, so the lower end of the graph is 3000 and each block is 500 RPMs. Peak torque is around 3750 RPMs.

Like HP Turbine said, the launch may be easier, but holding it at WOT and 20+ RPM for that long would result in a lot of stress. I'd need a much bigger intercooler, serious oil cooling and a much tougher transmission (5th gear would probably not handle more than one or two pulls like that, even on an auto).

Yeah, you guys have done an amazing job on this car. We haven't even done heads/cams and it's making more power than I thought possible. KUDOS to the whole GPI team!
