well my sales manager said he would send some one from the dealership to get the car from the rail yard so we won't have to wait for a truck. They can do this with some extra paper work on thier part. I will keep ya posted.

First off - congrats to all of the 7/13'rs that finally got their VIN these past couple of days!!! Feels great doesn't it?

And congrats Tana on having a dealer that's willing to go the extra mile for you - mine surely will not - he hasn't given me an update in 2 weeks.../sigh. Let us know (with pics!) when you get it!

And although I have a VIN, I've been stuck in 4B since Monday - gah! I almost wish that I was in 4D so I knew they were fixing something...and yes, mine's an MN6.

Anyone else been stuck at 4B with me?

I was a 7/13er too. Car built on 7/16 and received at dealership yesterday. They let me take it out for a spin last night and all I can say is WOW!! What a car! It was missing my orange rally stripes though

(half expected that). Hopefully they'll get them on soon enough. Gonna pick it up tomorrow I think, get it tinted and then I'll post pics once I have everything the way it should be (stripes on, windows tinted). YAAAAAAAY!!!

that sucks. I just don't understand it...we both had same 7/13 TPW. Mine was built 1146 cars after yours and already in transit.

doesn't make sense to me unless yours was one of randomly picked out of a bunch to undergo some serious QC inspection. I read that is what they do and is a standard production procedure...they pick a few cars out of a batch for serious QC stuff.

Still 4D. I not sweating it. I'd rather have a car that has hopefully been thoroughly checked out. Especially the cough....cough...m6,cough.

Well guess this is what I get for whining about being stuck at 4B for a week -- today I went to 4D.../sob

I know, I know - my camaro will get to me in exceptional condition after going through QC...but that only makes the waiting a wee bit easier.

Yeah, I'm right there with ya flashback...mine sat at 4B for 5 days...thought I had avoided QC - but no...today I'm in the QC bay with ya. Oh well...as long as they fix the tranny issue it's worth it.

And grats pdari! Can't wait to see the pics.
