The race scoop will work with your CAI. You don't necessarily have to get an ADM scoop, you could talk to Chase at APEX and he could hook you up with a scoop/bottle combo.

The launching mod and shifting mod are commonly referred to as the driver mod.

As soon as you tune your warranty is most likely gone.
Everyone else has given good info to get ya there with bolt ons though.

I'm hoping to be in the 11s with just bolt ons next time I go to the track, but I'm a vert so my car is about 300 lbs heavier.

I saw you asked about 4th gen wheels. 4th gen's are 5 x 4.75", 5th gens are 5 x 120 mm. It's REALLY close to the same, but it's technically not right. Lots of guys do it, but I personally would not.

I'd advise some clutch hydraulic work. The way you're going to need to treat the clutch to launch hard enough to get a bolt on M6 LS3 car into the 11's (especially if you don't cut weight from the car) is going to be hard on it, and put a lot of heat into it. A ZL1 pedal with return spring (or an aftermarket spring for your oem pedal) will help, the Tick heat shielded line helps too...otherwise you're going to cut that sub 1.7x 60' that you need and wind up with the pedal stuck to the floor when you go for 2nd.

yea, 11's is totally possible with bolt ons just like everyone else has said. im at 12.3 with just intake, scoop, headers, no cats, exhaust tune and drag radials. im hoping some trailing arms and stall will put me into the 11 second club.

you being an M6, youre gonna have to work on your launch and shifting. if you can get a clean launch with a good 60' and nice shifts you'll be good to go. practice makes perfect.

ADM makes a scoop, but APex makes their own scoop too, I have it and its great quality.

A shift light won't hurt to add to the 11s bolt-on formula. It has help me to a very consistent MPH. Installs in minutes.

They key here as mentioned before: the 60'. Seat time will help, but even then a good 60' might be elusive.

I am stuck at 12.4@114+ mph and and getting high 1.9-2.0 60s after more than 100 runs. I have a 1LE but other LS3 SSes run 1.7s with the same DRs. I still need to add a tune to the 11s formula.

So after all the mods plan on 100 or more runs to get there unless you can already stick a good 60'.

great help

thanks for all the info, its been a huge help as i am making a list of items now!

the reason i asked about the c4 camaro wheels is i have a set and was thinking i might could use them for drag radials if they bolted up.

I always admired a guy that had a 87 grand national that ran 7.50's in the 1/8th. Told me it had a bigger turbo and 3.73 rear end, drag radials. That thing was a bad machine. Hoping this c5 bowtie will put out some extra power after a little help.
