Maybe with the electronic1961 modifications the unit fits better than stock.
The sound quality maybe a litlle bad. But insignificant.
Only problem is reinstall 4 guages panel. Need push hard.

The overvall quality is very good and give to your interior incredible image.
You can keep the USB connection in the console by simply running a mini USB cable, unplug the factory USB behind the console’s rear end cover and plug the mini USB cable in it, than route the cable to your radio.

Is there a USB port in the back of the new unit it can go to, or do you have to plug it in the front of the radio when you want to use the center console USB?

Is it true the voice controls don't work? I really want to keep all of the stock features that are in my car already, since I pretty much use them all.
So far, have you found any other stock features that don't function with the new unit?

For 2010's the voice commands are controlled through the onstar module, which doesn't talk to the new head unit apparently - so I think 2010's lose voice commands, but 2011+ should be good.

Thanks for the info Stig. That might be a deal breaker for me.

this may be a dumb question, but what exactly is MyLink? And is it included in this unit from China? Also, how well does it sync with iPhone?

Glad I saw this thread, I was going to purchase the Scosche unit today...much rather go with this one
