"What about netflix...is there any way to plug the iphone in to this unit and play netflix from your phone?"

Lim emailed and said the MHL software he quoted was like mirroring your phone to your head unit. I have not ordered yet so I do not know it's real capabilities, but the youtube video makes it look that way. It does say for Samsung phones as well...

This... but really it was ability to use my torque app with it... that would be awesome.

If this can access the Android market so you can download the Torque app. it should work. Not all devices are allowed into the market though. I found this out a few years ago when I was rooting Android tablets. Getting the market to work was a challenge. Rooting is the only way to load apps through the back door. We'll have to wait and see.

Only if you don’t use Onstar system, you have to unplug the GPS antenna from Onstar module and connect the adapter cable (FAKRA SMB D 4004 male plug to SMA male 3 Ft) to the antenna and the other end to radio’s GPS. You have to purchase separately.

So now the dilemma I'm having is

This vs MyLink

This retains a CD slot, has a factory like look. (I'm only not feeling the MAP SD card slot and the volume and tune knob placements)

More importantly it looks like I wouldn't need to buy the PDIM upgrade or steering wheel controls either. No trips to the dealer - BONUS.

Electronic1961 if you ever come up to Ottawa in the Camaro I'd love to meet to see this in person. Likewise if I am ever in London.

In this one you don’t have to do anything like that. The Google Play Store is already installed, what you have to do is get internet and register there, and you done.

Perfect.

Not sure If I'll be out that way myself but if I find myself there I'll pm you.

I'm leaning more towards this unit the more I think about it. If it had paypal as a payment option I'd be all over it.

I got screwed for $300 once using western union buying online.
