Automatic Shifter
Ok. This is my question. I've been googling for two days now to no avail; I'm hoping someone here has either done this or can point me in the right direction.
I have an automatic. I want to change the shifter knob. I don't like the pistol grip style, the billet version of the stock shift knob, or that bulbous Hurst monstrosity. What I want is something more like a manual knob, round. Is there any knob available with a reverse switch that resembles that? And does anyone know the thread size for the shifter itself or what adapter I might need to fit something else on there? I know this is kind of out there. Just hoping someone has some info for me.

This may be of some interest. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=320465 It's the only thing that will do what you want that I'm aware of. Any questions feel free to ask. |

Have you tried the Drake shifter, that's the one that was in the concept camaro. Billet Aluminum.

Yes I saw that one and not not much care for the style. I wanted something a little more traditional manual shifter looking, the setup I ordered looks very nice and I can't wait to install it!
