You may need to install SWC with your current headunit before switching but I'm not %100 sure.

No I don’t have pictures of that. No you don’t have any RCA plugs in the car, the pre out in the radio is RCA female sockets and to use them you need the RCA male plugs.

Seems so much more efficient to use the GPS from the vehicle versus one that is provided.

Thanks
I didn’t found any 1Ft lengths so you can use combination like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fakra-SMB-D-4004-male-plug-to-SMA-male-6-RG174-pigtail-cable-GSM-antenna-/320978361964?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4abbcd 1e6c#ht_1778wt_1124 plus http://www.ebay.com/itm/3feet-SMA-ma...ht_3039wt_1124

Is not that simple, first of all you need to add steering wheel buttons then attach wiring and reprogram BCM module.

No he doesn’t need the SWC unit because the radio already have it Can Bus module and does recognise the signal from BCM.

To reprogram bcm would I have to leave the current radio on or could I do it with the new head unit installed

I would have the dealer to the reprogram with the OEM radio in, that way they can't pull the "well it's not the factory radio...."
