2 questions:
1) What version of Android is this? Seems like an older one. Maybe go into the Settings->About phone screen and post that? Just a concern because a lot of apps can be blocked/incompatible if it is a like 2.x android version (like most Android headunits I see)

2) Any testing with SiriusXM? My phone data is capped at 2 gigs so I wouldn't be playing tethered all the time through the sirius app. Hoping it works with the stock XM antenna. Could always go the external player route, if you ask nicely xm will give it free and run it as an input but prefer integrated.
One of the YouTube videos showed 2.3 Gingerbread

This is Android 2.3.4 and I did not see any compatibility problem so far and I didn’t test the XM app yet. The radio does have it AUX audio & video input so the external XM unit is not bad idea and for the XM antenna you can use adapter if is different connector.

Only Android 2.3.4? I wonder why their website says Android 4.0 on the side.

Through email he wrote that at some point it may be upgraded to 4.0, but I think almost all head unit systems are 2.3. I looked up some of this and why, has something to do with how easy that system is to manipulate versus the newer OS's. I don't have any Android knowledge so I cant tell you if this is indeed true or whether it will be upgraded at some point.

What I can say is they communicate timely, answer all questions. I just learned that they are out of stock as of last week and will begin shipping again this coming week.

So does it seem like there isn't XM hardware built in? If you hit the Radio button a few times does it cycle through to an xm receiver or no?

I really want something like this, but being realistic it IS my radio and the main use is satellite radio. Hate to jump and gain all these neat features but lose the core simple use of integrated XM and have to run some external box into it.

Sorry if I'm asking a question more for the manufacturer haha.

While I'm asking these sort of questions, how do I explain to my wife that I need $800 worth of car audio equipment right now?

The radio broke and the airbags are wired through the radio. If I don't replace this part, the air bags won't go off on the passenger side
