Strange Sounds with New Clutch

Recently bought a 2013 1LS and I'm hearing odd clutch sounds in low gears. Picked up the car with 21 miles on it and now she's at just over 1,100. Sometime in the past 200-300 miles whenever I depress the clutch pedal in 1st gear there is this strange noise. It's not quite grinding like forcing the transmission into gear and it's also not quite squeaking like rusted metal rubbing. The best I can describe it is like the metal groaning sound a large ship might make. Any clues? Or should I just take it to the nearest dealer and get it checked out? Would prefer not to take it back to the dealer where I bought it since I had to drive 100 miles to find this exact car in the color I wanted.

M0dnar,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your Camaro. I do apologize to hear about the clutch sounds. Any frustration this causes is certainly understandable. Feel free to message us privately and we'll exhaust our options to help locate a dealer near your home to resolve your concerns.
