hearing these horror stories is what has me 90% convinced I'm ready to jump ship on these lights and sell them. I will then go to AAC and just buy some Afterburner rings and mod my stock housings. they might not be as cool or flashy as the Technostalgia lights but at least I will rest easy knowing they will last a long time.

I've had my Technostalgia lights in for over a year. No problems at all. All LED's work perfect and no burnouts.

Will do. I'll be shipping out my light real soon. Already emailed Todd, and he said no problem, about a week turn around. Still a pain to remove and have no light for a week, but it is what it is, and the end result will be a proper running light. They do look good, just wish it wasn't the outer one, they're a real pain to remove.

Back up a couple pages and find Deke736, he re-wired his after his battery went dead. Solved the problem and he wrote up instructions to help out anybody else who wants to avoid this problem. Good Luck and let us know how you make out.

I think Deke736 has a thread of his own on this, something about his key got locked in the ignition because the battery went dead. You could do a search or PM him to get his how to instructions.

I hope to get my light back soon, car is parked in the garage missing a taillight. Although the weather has gone down hill up here in the North East. Not sure how many more chances I'll get to go for a spin. Any day it's sunny and in the forties I'll be behind the wheel for sure! Spring is a long long ways away.

Add me to the list as well. I wish I would have seen this thread earlier lol I've been chasing possible causes for two weeks now on my second battery.

Checkout Deke736 thread, he's had zero problems since he re-wired so they work only when the key is in acc or on. Crazy how some of these lights have no problems and others completely drain the battery in like two weeks.

Has the issue of draining the battery been solved? I'm thinking of getting a set of these from a forum member but not if there are issues on them still.

I had these lights but I sold them three weeks later. Mine were fine but I didn't want to take any chances with future problems down the line. I went with the AAC Afterburner lights which I know are tried and trued.
