Again, options/choices are good.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

Yea, not really at that power level yet. Besides I am going to do gears, trutrac, etc. all at once IF i do it. I could just buy a 1LE pumkin and stick it in but would still be missing an upgraded limited slip of some sort.

Still waiting to see pricing on the new Z28 and what they are going to announce for the new Z06. Need to look at the ROI of everything first.

I'm just glad Mark has stuck with an IRS rear.
And yea, it's a custom built rear. He had it all torn apart at HolleyFest so I got to see it.

We don't make a 9" for the Vettes yet.

There are a few really fast cars getting built this winter that will be sporting Gforce 9" rears, we are a fairly young company, give us a few years and I'm sure we will have some records of our own

3.91 in the 1LE. Aside from that... I think so.

The case and the guts are the same. Gears are different. It has the axles ends off of a ZL1 I think. The shaft of the axle is the same as an SS though.

  • We have a Lifetime warranty vs Their 1 year warranty
  • We use a Strange Pro-Iron pumpmkin
  • They use a Strange Street case (Strange doesnt recommend this for over 450 hp)
  • We use a Strange 35 Spline S-Trac
  • They use a smaller 31 and 33 spline TrueTrac or Wavetrac
  • We use a fully fabricated housing with cnc machined bearing blocks and 3/8" thick faceplates. We also use 3/8" thick brackets. We do all of this so that there is no deflection. Very important in an IRS rear.
  • They use a stock stamped housing with the ends cut off and bearing blocks welded to it.
  • All of our 9" kits come standard with huge 35 spline inner stubs.
  • They use smaller 31 or 33 spline stubs.
  • Our kit comes standard with our big 31 spline 1500hp Outlaw axles with our billet cnc machined cv stars. These are the biggest, strongest axles out for the 9" kits. We can even make a 33 and 35 spline version if needed.
  • They use a smaller 30 spline axle with smaller cv stars.
  • We use billet one piece outer stubs.
  • They use an OEM type stub with a built in cv joint.
  • We use big BMR Poly bushings.
  • They use smaller black no name bushings.
  • Ours bolts in with zero cutting, hacking, hammering or grinding.
  • They may have fixed that with their revised design.
  • We make our kit in house
  • They dont

Thats about all I could think of off the top of my head in 60 seconds

Give me a call if you have any questions.

Thanks
Chris @ Gforce

I can account for a lot of this. Last time I was in the shop Chris gave me a nice walk around and taught me a few things. He showed me some comparisons of stuff and I can vouch for the Gforce stuff being bigger and size-ably beefier than other competitors parts that punch out OEM parts and lose thickness of some parts. Great setup in the shop and made me a lot more comfortable that this stuff is made in house for quality control.

^^ Ject is the guy I'm gonna be faster than next spring. As long as he doesn't get wheels and drag radials too. He keeps blowing all of his money on potential future problems. I might be faster than him for a year.

I can only hope.
If I'm always the fastest then I have no desire to spend $$$ and go faster. I need someone to keep upping me.
