Here's what I don't get... they say the SS might be confused for a fancy Malibu but give it 10/10 in exterior styling. So they really like the Malibu or what?
I had considered waiting for the G8's replacement as I came very close to pulling the trigger on a G8 GT. I'm glad I didn't for two reasons. The first is that this car isn't even being offered in Canada so I'd have to import one... probably used. And second is that this car looks very boring. The G8 wasn't extremely aggressive in it's styling but IMO looks better than this, and the G8 went out of production about 4 years ago.

I wouldnt read to much into the mags opinion. I ended my subcriptions a year or so ago, I couldnt take the import ass kissing that they all seem to do. If its not Ricer ass kissing its GM Ass kissing. I love GM but some of the stuff i have read in the garbage mags, and how they chose what they think is the better car im just like what?

The last time i read a review by one of the auto mags was when i was over seas. I cant remember now what exactly was in the artical but it was either the V6 Mustang or Camaro against some ricer trash. Anyways the american car beat everthing else in ever catagory, they even said something like this car is such a good driver blah blah. One of the Ricer cars was chosen as the winner though because it looked more sporty or something.

I didnt read this article so im not saying there opinion here is wrong or not, just dont read to much into it.

The Charger has some really tall gearing. I think it could be < 4 sec 0-60 with a modest rear end change.

I personally don't like leather either. I don't want or need heated or cooled anything or a sunroof. All bloat BS to me.
And when you add the NAV, Uconnect, 8.4" screen to the SuperBee, it costs $46,870, which is more than the SS.

Don't try to talk sense to that guy, he won't listen. Also, wasn't the SRT8 running quite of bit of kit that is irrelivent when comparing to the SS (ie the looks only 392 group which is 2500), similarly equipped the SRT is around 49725 including GG, The SS is 45770 with GG tax both sans sunroof). ifference is roughly 4k difference which is not much in this bracket (and current incentives on the Charger will easily make that even). the SS has slightly better handling, the SRT8 is quicker, braking is basically a wash with a VERY slight edge to the SRT, both good cars, both with different attitudes, gotta love we even have these choices! I know it is cliche, but I hope for a rematch next year when the SRT gets some major upgrades.

Yours is less because it's a 2013 and the dealer was tired of it sitting on the lot. Nothing wrong with that but not an apples to apples comparison.

Indeed, better all-round car than the SRT8 for less money. What I've been saying all along.

Now that reviews are starting to appear, you're simply embarrassed by your ignorant posts over the last 6 months. Rather than admit you were clearly wrong regarding how well the SS would perform, you choose to ignore and look away. Will you ever learn?
