it rains almost every day here in the central FL area in the summertime so that puts the driving on my Z to a minimal.
Man, you just described me to a "T"! I have always kept my cars in like new condition, only to trade them in and let them sit outside on a dealer lot like its just an ordinary car, because well...it is. My SS is not a daily driver and the bottom is as clean as the top. Its just a sickness I guess. I have no plans of getting rid of this car so maybe this time it will all be for something good. Was just glad to see someone else out there like me!

You should take it out and drive it. The thing about chevys is, they are built to be taken out and enjoyed on a daily basis. The 100k warranty is proof of that. An Aston Martin, or a Ferrari, those sit around all day. Your SS isn't going to go up in value so by the time you're done, you'll trade it in and be lucky to get anywhere near what you paid for it.

So get in it, and take it out. It wants you to drive it.

Its not a value thing. It gets 10mpg, bucks under 1700rpm, and it makes me appreciate it more when I dont drive it everyday. It was a daily for a little while, but I like having a beater car that I can park in the closest spot I find at the store, its much easier to get my daughter in and out of than the Camaro is, (even though she does ask to go in the red one more often than not... shes 2 1/2, brings a tear to my eye!) I like to work on it, and not stress out if I dont finish before the work week starts. I usually just take it to cruise ins twice a month. The track around here is supposed to open back up in a couple months. It will make its way over there when time allows! Im just extremely anal with my cars. I like when people say, "damn dude, this thing looks like you just bought it." Its 3 years old and counting!

18k with my OEM front tires still on. Had to change the rears only due to a screw being in one of them. It's my DD and I live in the south.

Great to see this. Might be getting this car and it will be daily driven for at least 3 years until the payment is over with on our '11 maxima. Then I can get a small civic like 3rd beater car

Thing is with a car like this (at least me) I appreciate the car less when I daily drive it. My Z06 for example... It has been my DD and it just becomes a car I drive every day. I don't get excited every time I get in it. I'd like it to be different with a car like this.

I have about that many too.

No issues as a DD. I drive mine every day year round and on road trips.

If it is like airplanes, the ones that fly everyday have less issues. It's not a garage ornament.

Someone else sure will love that new car once you are done storing it for them. Each to their own but mine was bought to drive. (10,000 miles a counting) Living in FL there is never a time I can't. Tons of rain has fallen on my ZL1 and it has not melted yet. New cars depreciate so why not enjoy them.

That is a ton of miles.

It would be interesting to know what repairs have been done and how many sets of tires/ brand are on the car.

MY 2013 VERT HAS 11,858 AFTER ONE YEAR AND A COUPLE OF ROAD TRIPS TO DEADWOOD, SD. AND TOPEKA,KS. JUST SPRUNG FOR SOME MICHELIN PILOT SUPER SPORTS...295/35ZR20 AND 315/35ZR20. GOODYEARS ARE STICKY BUT DON'T LAST FOR A DAILY DRIVER. I AM SURE THE MICHELINS WILL GIVE ME BETTER MILEAGE WITHOUT SACRIFICING PERFORMANCE.

WHEN I DRAG RACE I AM GETTING A SET OF MICKEY THOMPSON DRAG RADIALS ON A SET OF 20" WHEELS.
