Best way to debadge my Camaro

I have the '14 2SS/RS 1LE all black. Im thinking I want to debadge it. What is the best way to go about it? I have a heat gun. Also does the rear chevy emblem on the trunk come off? Depending if I like it or not I'd like to put black SS emblems in place. Do they make those? Thanks

Hair drier + fishing line + goo gone = bye bye badges

I know the rear bowtie on my 2010 had "pegs" that were inserted into holes in the rear decklid, so removing it meant I had to deal with the leftover holes. I just replaced my bowtie with a custom painted one, so I didn't have to worry about the holes, but if you plan on going completely badgeless, you'll have to find a way to plug the holes (bodyshop or some sort of inserts). The SS badge on the rear decklid and "Camaro" on the fenders only had the adhesive.

*assuming your 2014 is the same.

If you don't have fishing line, floss has always worked fine for me. Just gotta be careful not to break it.

Fishing line and a hair dryer will do it. Only 2010 models had holes under the bowtie on the trunk, so yours won't have any to worry about. The more heat you apply, the easier they all are to remove. Also, a heat gun will work, I just suggested a hair dryer because you wouldn't have to worry about potentially damaging your paint, as a heat gun could do.

I've always used the hot sun, which this item of year is hard to come by, so a hair dryer or heat gun will work. Then some fishing line and/or a credit card work well and WD-40 for the residue.

Best regards,

ive debaged like 10 vehicles over time and I always use dental floss, a heat gun and clean it up with bug and tar remover.

The front has an indentation for the bow tie. I haven't seen a bow tie delete like on the 10-13's, for the 14 yet.
