Strange, 14.4mpg

So, I took a look at my meter on my car ( shifting through categories with the turn signal lever ) and on avg mpg it says i'm getting 14.4 and avg speed is 15.5. Is there something wrong with my car? Has to do with fuel rails? Maybe I have my RX can hoses hooked up wrong (I DOUBT it).
Anyone can help me with this? Or just simply take it to dealership and be like " fix diz shiz"?

**ALSO CAR IS STOCK, NO engine upgrades have been made only RX CC" V6 MODEL

Thanks for taking your time to view this as well as respond if at all.

My daily commute is in-town (no highway), and my overall average looks very similar to yours when I don't try to conserve gas (which is most of the time). If I try, I can get just over 16 average. I'm essentially 100% stock.

How often do you reset the meter? Also, what kind of driving? City or highway, lead foot?

The way I do it is I use trip meter one for mpg calculations. Every time I fill up I reset that trip meter, which gives me an accurate number of miles to use and then I divide by the gallons on the pump. I check what the average mpg on the car says and I reset it.

Yeah, might as well reset your average speed and average mileage and see where your mileage sits normally.

I average 22.0mpg on the DIC... calculated to be about 22.5-23.0. Mostly city driving, never use 4th gear, etc. 14.4 is really low.

You could go the mod route and get an intake to boost it a little.

I haven't reset my meter, but everytime I fill up it'll say my range of miles usually 250-300m.
Also, I mainly do city driving calm and slow and usually it's about 4-8 miles a day. Moreover, when I go to school 4x a week the trip is through a highway about 23miles to and another 23m back, I usually stay within the 55-65mpg range. Sometimes I will step on it going up to 75 but that's about it.

Just reset it at 17569 miles, let's see how it works. ( RESET both avg speed/fuel econ )
