Ingen long tubeCAI heat shield.

I have been entertaining this thought Of Putting a heat shield in some way around my ingen intake, but I have run into a few dilemmas. One being airflow, how could you put would on without hindering airflow at all? Another one being what material would be good and also look nice enough For car shows? What would you attach it to and how? And most importantly will it make a viable difference, or is it already far enough away from the motor that a heat shield would not help?

My logic behind thinking this is if CAI brand cold air intake can provide the highest peak HP gains with its relative closeness to the motor then implementing the same type of heat shield would help it enough to be worth it. I may be completely wrong and it might be completely useless and not affect the temperature of the air going into the intake but it is just a thought. I would love for others to chime in!
