I'll bet Chevrolet sold those cars to Dugan really cheap. All the better for us, as they were one a hell of a good deal. Mine had a 170 miles on it when I picked it up but well worth it for the money. I couldn't of afforded one otherwise.

Back in 2000 I bought one of the Brickyard SS convertibles that stickered for about 36K new for $24K that a friend of mine bought at the Indy auction. That car had about 1200 miles on it. Chevrolet dumps these cars pretty cheap when they're done with them.

Cool. Nice car. My last two vehicles have been purchased from Dugan as they are just down the road. Great dealer to work with.

You did pick an awful week to pick it up. Since Thursday it has been snowy and cold. Mine as of yesterday is covered and on the battery tender for some time now

the negative is that the area in Indiana where I bought it had about 1-2 inches of snow last night. they put the car inside for me last night but the roads were coated in salt when i drove home. I dont have any hand car wash places near where I live in Chicago and its only 18 degrees outside. not sure when I'm going to get this salt off.....
Do you have a garage? Check out some rinseless/waterless wash

Nice car man. A yellow 1LE is something I've never seen on the street or highways anywhere. That makes it even cooler to me.

Thanks. I agree. You don't see many. I actually havnt seen a 1LE on the road in Chicago yet and there are several in our local club.

My wife doesn't like the black hood but I said that is part of what makes it a 1LE. She wants me to take off the black but I said not just yet. I actually like it.

Interesting. Haven't been in there since last May before the 500 to pickup some passes. I try to stay away otherwise I may end up with a new silverado

My boys were playing in a white crew cab silverado in the showroom while we did the paperwork. If you are indeed in the market you might want to stop in. They seem to be selling cars way below invoice right now.

Going to wait probably 2 yrs. I will most likely order again. They don't seem to like to stock the bigger (6.2) engines around here.

Anyway, I sold my 2010 2SS/RS(G6X3 Cam, Headers, Custom stripes etc...) in early 2013 and was really having sellers remorse to the extent that I contacted the guy who bought the car and told him I would buy it back if he was interested. Needless to say he loves it as much as i did/do and said no to me buying it back. I have since been searching for another camaro, both used and new.

I really liked a 2014 1LE/1SS I found with the recaro seats. The seats are amazing! however, still more than I wanted to spend.

In the end I did a 500 mile search from Chicago and located my new 1LE on a dealer lot(Dugan Chevy) in Avon, Indiana. It is a 2013 1LE/1SS Rally Yellow. The only option it has is the 1LE package (no NPP, No Navi, No Sunroof, No RS, No Boston Acoustics). All in all a very low optioned car which is actually what I wanted in the first place. There was another Rally Yellow in Indianapolis also Rally Yellow with NPP but the dealer would not budge much on price. I ended up getting this one way under MSRP and feel that I got a pretty good deal. Unfortunately, after putting about 15k in my 2010, this will have to stay near stock for at least a year.

well here is the car(took the pic at the dealer today when I drove down and picked it up, not the best pic but you get the idea):

Josh,

Congrats on your '13! It looks great! How are you enjoying it?
