Does anyone know approx how much it costs to wide body a Camaro? Ive only seen a few around but think its one of the best mods you can get (and most expensive im thinking). Anyone know price or have pics?

I was looking at the same thing. Depends on how you want to achieve the widebody look. There are some fiberglass/plastic kits out there which would run you $6-8K painted/installed (Do a google search for Bomex Camaro). The other option (which I prefer) is the full-metal fendor door upgrade with custom replacement bumpers, which I've seen run in the $10-$12k price range. The metal kits are pure body-shop custom work, and I've heard others talk about shops in Texas that do it.

I'm currently in the middle of my widebody right now, so I'm experiencing everything you might go through in the soon future.

Firstly the cost of the actual body pieces are going to be whatever the company lists it for, so lets just estimate it at $5,000 or so. That's not the most expensive part. Realistically to have a body shop install it and paint it, it's going to cost you in the vicinity of $10,000 if you want it done PROPERLY. There's a lot of primer, lots of sanding, lots of molding in, etc... Of course this depends totally on the design of the kit, what it cuts off, what it will be adding on etc... Expect to pay somewhere around $15,000-$20,000 to get a show quality like result. Anything less than that, someone will have skimped on something more than likely.
