I like the new mustang, it looks great and should have the engine to make it a winner. As a car enthusiast I can see the value in that. To stay in the game GM needs to come up with something better.

I'm going to disagree with you here. I hadve both, both have there pros and cons the Camaro has no more muscle than the mustang though. I would say the mustang actually has more muscle. The challenger out muscles all of them with the 392 lol to each their own though

I think with the Alpha platform and the LT1, Camaro will take the lead once again.

Well Deki my PHX buddy lol, I will just post again that I need to see it in person, I dont see anything really bad about the new mustang and I do agree with some that the inside does look a little more appealing then our current camaro dashes. As for what I see so far is ford took a step in a better direction, which I cannot say about our current refresh joke in the '14 which dissapointed. I am glad ford kept the tails iconic and similar and not odd change in direction GM went with long rectangles and plastic halway up the car. as for engine, im sure it will have enough power to compete, atleast in a straight line.

I actually like the 14 Camaro refresh. I also saw my first 2014 SS in white the other day and it looked great. I actually do like the tail lights as well, and they finally got rid of the back up lights in the rear bumper. That was a travesty, and the designer that left those in there should be beaten with Rosie O'Donnel's 10" rubber didlo. I do like the over all design of the new Mustang, but I hate how Ford is saying it's an all new platform when it's just a modified S197. If it was a truly new platform, they would not have kept the same wheel base. I was really hoping for a 3,400 pound, 450hp, IRS equipped, RWD V8 coupe at about a $35,000 price point, but I just don't think it's a reality. I mean, it exists, but it's called a Corvette, and it's $55,000.

As for my opinion...I disagree.

Camaro is an older design, but still bolder and more interesting than the 2015 Mustang. Don't get me wrong...I'm no hater. I think the 2015 Mustang is attractive and its proportions are spot on...but still more boring to me than my Camaro.

The Camaro on Alpha chassis will be that "something better" easily.....unless it looks like crap.

The 5th gen Camaro in the looks department is a home run in a big way.

Just modified in what way? What is still the same (besides wheelbase) and what is different?

Ford's chief engineer says the only reused parts between S197 and S550 is maybe a few bolts. Do you know something different?

If they went with a "gram strategy" they might not even share that much.

I dont mind the 2015 Mustang all that much. The only thing I really dont like is the rear end. Engine sounds good, just a little miffed at them not keeping the side vent (not sure what to call that).

I can see how my comment was over the top. Oh well, lesson learned.
Your not taking these guy seriously are you......you have an opinion....so do they....if they don't like yours who cares.
