New 2014 SS missing "old school" item

Every time I looked at the side view of my new SS, I kept on thinking something was missing. Being older than a lot of fellow members here, I remember the late 60's - early '70s Chevy SS era and realized that the SS was missing on the fender behind the front wheels. So, ordered some OEM SS trunk emblems and now it looks correct (to me anyway ).

I would agree with you, but I thought it was a little cluttered then. Cause now you SS on all 4 sides of the car...

I put those on my SS the very first day (8/21/09). I drove it to my body shop who had pre ordered them for me.
Just didn't seem right GM didn't put them there from the get-go.

Yep, and that's exactly what Chevy did to all the SS models back in the day. One on the grill, one on the rear bumper/trunk, and one each front fender...and I like it then, as I do now.

Agree - The night I came home with my new SS, the first thing I did was order these online. I used the blue painters tape to underline the M and the 2nd A on Camaro and used the tape width as my guideline.

Just as every 1st Gen SS did as well.

Looks pretty cool. Do you know what he did? I'm assuming he got some 1st Gen stuff, cut off the mounting pegs, and used some 3M tape or something.
