The automatic jokes have gotten old, half of the douche bag comments come from guys that cant properly drive their manuals the right way. Having an auto has nothing to do with a burnout or lack there of

I like to add a little sugar, sweetens them up a little, or switch to frosted

A V6 on level ground will spin both tires. Just turn tc off push the brake pedal in and hit the gas. You'll spin and burnout till you decide to stop. You don't need a posi, LSD, or a v8 to do a badass burnout

Sounds like somebody has developed some " I drive an auto issues". What no neutral drop sense of humor?

Anyway, it's not the car, it's the driver. Just like when guys freak out over summer tires in the winter. The car isn't gonna lose control all by itself.

Grow a pair, hold the brake, and mash the gas. Or if you have a 8 just touch the gas a little harder than normal.

Just let the clutch out at about 1800rpm and stomp the accelerator, should leave a good 10ft patch.

Sometimes the back swings out a bit at the start of the burnout and that will kick the Stability in, killing the burnout. Happened on my 6 and 8.

Good Point. Another good reason to turn off both traction control and stabil trak.

Oh I have no issues driving an auto, almost all of my other vehicles have been manuals, I can drive a manual great, I originally got the auto so my wife could also drive it, but once I started modding it she wont hardly touch it now I also have a great sense of humor and I can get along with anyone, the "autos are for pansies" jokes just gets a little old.

And I have zero problems breaking traction, most of the time I do it not even meaning too.

Yep, MrWray, manuals are great, however, automatics are pretty nice, too. I love the stick shift for spirited driving, and normal day to day, however, when I 'm jammed up in bumper to bumper traffic,, I think about how awesome an automatic would be.

OP- what is the tread rating difference between the Pirelli's and the Generals? I have Pirelli P-Zero's, and when the pavement is hot, they grip like crazy, usually can't break them loose by just flooring the car once rolling in 1st gear (600HP on tap), but when the pavement is 70* or less, man, are they easy to spin!! Pretty much any car will do a burnout if you power brake it (hold the brake, floor it), but I think it's much, much cooler when you don't have to power brake it to get it to spin. Just my $.02....good luck with making smoke!!!!

With an automatic I assume you first apply red lip-stick, then effervescently squeeze the brake with your left foot while flamboyantly tapping the gas pedal with your right foot and hope for the best?
