My boost controller is the PCS D200, we ramped in the boost progressively, it was at 19 psi of boost & 6800 rpm crossing the finish line. My transmission is the stock 6L90, stock converter, stock rearend & gears. The car was on the stock Good Years & fought for traction the whole weekend, they were the only tires I had rated to go over 200 mph, when I do The Mile again the car will be on Hoosiers. My car was the 1st ZL1 to go over 200 in a standing mile & my next goal is the 1/4 mile record for a ZL1. The LPE intake works awesome, keeps IAT's low after idling through staging with the ac running, burnout & a full 1 mile blast, I think it looks badass also!

In looking up the specs on the various Borg Warner turbos being used in the AGP kit, here is a quick comparo of the flow ratings of the Garrett options we use Vs the BW options from AGP: IPS Stage 1 Garrett: 53lb/Min IPS Stage 2 Garrett: GT3586R: 75lb/Min IPS Stage 2 Garrett: GT3794R: 90lb/Min AGP S200sx 5161 BW: 47lb/Min AGP S256_RS BW: 56lb/Min AGP S261_RS BW: 70lb/Min I will look back up the ratings on the Turbonetics & Precision turbos (Used in the Hellion & Granatelli kits) and update them as well. You can get into all kinds of wheel size comparisons (Comp and turbine wheel inducers and exducers) and turbine A/R sizes and such but all of that is what ends up being able to move "X" amount of air. That rating is either a lb/Min flow rating or a Horsepower number. Jeff PS -- The GT3794R's are what we used on DarthEmma's car to make 1300rwhp through the TH400 and trap 169mph. |

For reference, AGP is a garret/precision dealer too and can supply all the same turbos if the customer wanted. The BW work great and are super reliable but if someone wanted any of those other turbos you just have to ask and pay the difference.

Adding on a pair of $2199 turbos (So $4398) that we use on our Stage 2 kit tends to up the price-point a wee bit: http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...de=NTGT3586HTA We have two separate kits (Stage 1 and 2) because it isn't possible to just swap out a GT35R with Tial V-band SS housings in place of a standard T3 housing in terms of the adapter pipes. Since all our Stage 2 Garrett options are ball-bearing, coolant lines and fittings and such all get added in as well. It really is two different kits just to be able to utilize the flow advantages of the awesome Tial 1.02 A/R SS housings on the Garrett GT35R turbos. Jeff |

Bump.
Anymore experiences on the twin turbo set up? Wanting to get up to 700rwhp but maintain reliability. Another question: with the turbos sitting low, would they suck up water if I happen to be stupid and drive on a rainy day? |
