Here is my dyno from LG. My car is stock except for a axleback SLP loudmouth. I am pretty happy.

For the first 300 or so miles, I drove it kind of hard but not going past 5k. From 300 - 1000 I babied the crap out of it. When I got the dyno it had 1020 miles on it. Now I am going to drive it like I want and am not going to worry about it.

Yeah that seems to be the pattern; "spirited" driving in the first few miles gives better hp results on the dyno.

What are you guys doing to get such awesome numbers, my baseline was 359/357 LS3 M6 on a Dynajet Dyno?

Could just be the dyno. A tuner made a post where he said that he had dynoed at least
20 different LS3's and they all dynoed in the 350s rwhp on their dyno jet.

While some other dyno jets are seeing 370s rwhp out of stock LS3's

It seems to be the break-in that makes the difference. If you follow the "recommended" break-in procedure, the average rwhp on the dyno for an LS3 M6 is about 357. So far the guys who have done more "spirited" driving in the first few hundred miles are seeing anywhere from 364-380 on average when they dyno their cars.

Check this link out, it has a very interesting article on breaking-in new engines. I'm going to follow it to the letter when I get mine.

Nice read

I've been telling people to break their car in hard, but I never had anything to really back it up (other than stories).
I've been driving my car pretty hard from day one, and its fast.

That's the break-in i have done on the car, changed the Oil at 250miles and at 500 the car really woke up ALLOT, like it is learning or something. Have taken it easy for the past 500 miles to let the drive train and brakes work in though. Currently have 1100miles and the car drives great and is really strong.

No dyno #'s to show at this point but i do believe this procedure works best IMO. Done this MANY times on motorcycles and always had very strong engines.

No, I didn't. I will have them do it when I have them install my ported TB and U/D pully and dyno it again. I will post up the new dyno after the install.
