Neutral/park rev limiter

So I got an IPF tune and they said it wasn't going to remove my neutral rev limiter at all, and then I found it it actually did.
Guess it's pretty cool to be able to rev past 4000 rpm so you can actually hear the exhaust and not a little baby "vroom" lol but what are the cons of this?
Obviously I'm not gonna just hold it at red line for 10 seconds, but is it safe to have a little "fun" and do some louder revs? Like 5000 rpm or so?

You could possibly float a valve, but I don't think that would be likely. Don't rev it high and then slam it into gear; that could cause some damage to the driveline.

It's never a good idea to over rev an engine without it under a load. You're more apt to do damage to your engine reving it in park and neutral, but as long as you aren't doing it excessively you should be ok.

Yeah like I said before I don't want to sit there and just hold it at 7000 RPM for 10 seconds ha I just want to maybe take it to 5000 or so occasionally. Some people say you can go a little high and it doesn't hurt but others say don't do it at all that's why I'm unsure and wanted to get some more opinions
