You are correct but codes are set by the front O2s in many cases due to being moved further from the engine.

What is the reason the front O2 sensors send a code? Is it because the exhaust is colder than what it should be since they're further from the engine

Yes Multiple reasons.

The computer keeps track of What we Call Transport Delay.

The time from when the injector fires to when the O2 sees the change.

Cold sensors do not respond as fast as hot sensors.

Yes Sir, Thank you.

Purchase an SCT tuner from JRE and you recieve your first JRE Custom Tune FREE to cover All Stock car or Stock car with any CAI and any CAT Back exhaust.

Options apply if other mods are already installed.

This Gets you on the JRE Custom Tune Program.

Say down the road you purchase Headers from JRE Tune update is FREE,

Same For Any other Mods, Cams, gears, torque converters, blowers, fuel pumps, etc etc etc.
