i think its just the right thing to do. You RESPECT other peoples stuff if its a 20$ blue ray disc you dont get finger prints or scratches on it or if its a 250,000 $ Bentley. For most people a car s one of there top 3 most expensive things they own. maybe they live in a apartment on tight budget with child support and can only afford a 3000$ used car that is what they need not what they want but to them its huge deal and they may babe it because it needs to last 10 years for them. If you want to treat your own stuff like crap fell free to but your flushing some value down the drain.

You can't treat someone's stuff like its yours.. most likely if they had a gen5 Camaro and spent the money these cost, they would not lean or put feet on them either.. it just a a sign of disrespect or jealously..

Some people are not happy to see other people have anything nicer than they have...

even if i could afford a ZL1, i wouldnt be able to enjoy driving it anywere for fear something would happen to it. hell, i am practically a basket case now just driving my new 2LT, i park far away, and try not to tailgate with winter upon us. but, i dont want anyone touching my car either. its just respect. i treat my 98 Firebird the same way, park it far away from others. for 177K miles , it look really good. but, it all boils down to respect.

sorry to hear that someone is that thoughtless - but frankly, nothing surprises me.....

I've had a girl lay down on the hood of one of our HIstoric Corvette Pace Cars to have her boyfriend take a picture. When I asked her to move, I was lectured that they both drive GM cars and I need to change my attitude.

(....the devil on my left shoulder said "...I'd put your hand on her A## and say 'I'l take my hand off your A## when you take your A## off MY CAR....'..."

Of course I'd never do such a thing.....I guess a Walter Mitty moment......
