...on the other side of the coin though:

It is my opinion that even the LS3 has a serious lack of low end torque when the weight of the car is considered. Add that to the poor throttle response and the car might seem to not be accelerating quickly at some rpms.

As far as the Challenger is concerned its a GREAT car.. it was faster than my current LFX and the tone that resonates from the V8 cannot be matched. but interior styling, comparable acceleration, and higher quality materials make the 2LT RS a better buy staying within the 32-34000 dollar price range. There are better challengers out there but by the time you match the quality offered by the 2LT as a daily driver your leaning closer to 36-38,000 dollars

You may want to take a look at the Nurburgring times.

"power band bald spot that I normally experience in 4th around 5,500" I'll be respectful and say that's incorrect or I can just say whatever dude.

Wow, I think that is a completely inaccurate statement.

There have been a few times in the history of the Camaro where a particular model, even if it wasn't mass produced, was at the top of it's game for the time.

I took a honda civic for a test drive....I then went and test drove a v6 camaro. Honestly I really couldn't feel the difference in power. I know the camaro has 2 more cylinders and way more torque. But I couldn't justify the money for the v6. I think they are on the same playing field when it comes to performance.......see how silly this sounds....please v6 guys ..you have nice cars but your not in the same league as the v8, it doesn't matter how you put it.

Always a V6 guy that creates these threads...always. Why is that? I just don't get it. There is never any thread or statement made to provoke them. They just show up and start these threads for some reason. And its always a male to boot. Anyone else ever notice that. I don't get it.

Well I'm not about to start a thread that is for justifying why I bought a ZL1, does that help?

Why I skipped straight from being single to being divorced with no marriage in between so I don't have to justify stupid purchases like a Camaro when a Cruze would have gotten me to work just the same.

Why not add how ugly the vert is compared to the coupe and it's too heavy and all that as well, let's get all the comparisons into one threadnaught for Christmas.
