I have the 14 SS as well with the dual mode exhaust. How much louder and better did it get with the long tubes? Which ones did you with? Sound clip?!!

The factory NPP exhaust is an awsome system on its own. A Borla, Corsa ect. system will not give you more than a change in the exhaust tone, any HP gain (minimal at best) will not be noticeable. If your going to be doing any engine mods that would benefit from better exhaust flow I would hold out and go with a 3 inch system later. Just a thought....I love my NPP but will switch it up when the mods start. This is merely my opinion.

Long tubes are where the power comes from. Upgrading to a set of 1 7/8" LT's married with some good intake upgrades (CAI, Rotofab, etc) and a tune can net you ~50rwhp or more.

With these cars, there is not much to gain with the exhaust system other than sound. With the NPP, you already have a pretty good sounding system. I'd leave it alone unless you want a different tone.
