Installed the Apex Scoop and Windshield Washer Relocation Kit today. Took about an hour and a half from start to finish.
Pictures of the scoop and the CAI with new Windshield Washer Fill Reservoir in place.

What do you think about the scoop and washer bottle relocation? Do you notice a difference in sound or performance? A lot of people say it makes a big difference and its something that I have been considering adding to mine.

I definitely noticed the sound difference after installing scoop and CAI. Much more aggressive sound when you step on the gas. As for performance, since I installed the CAI at the same time I installed the ported TB, it is hard to say which accounts for the change in performance. The car is definitely a little more responsive, especially in the mid-ranges.

Installed some new snow shoes on Tasha for the winter. So much happier with the Black wheels. Just because they are shoe shoes does not mean they shouldn't look nice!

New engine cover courtesy of Lupe at River City. Will have to get better pictures the next time the sun is out.

This week was the end of the road for Tasha... at least the V6 version. I pulled the CAI and snow wheels, drove her to the dealership and then brought home her big Sister... Orange on Orange 2013 2SS RS M6 with NPP. Dealer knew I was interested in trading up and offered me a good enough deal that I couldn't pass it up. Got bit by the V8 itch... ce la vie... you only live once. Whoever buys her next will get a sweet custom painted engine cover, ported TB and blacked out scripts and bowties as a bonus. In the mean time, I am enjoying playing with a manual again after not really driving one regularly for about 15 years and trying not to wake up the neighbors with that throaty V8 growl from the dual mode exhaust. New build thread to follow as I start working on the newer Camaro.
