56 or 67 Race Ramps for ZL1

Was considering some race ramps...

For those that have them, I'm sure they'll be fine for the 2010, but was wondering about the front of the ZL1. It's pretty low. Will I need to do any additional steps? 56 or 67???

Just wondering before I drop some bills and then be pissed cuz they didn't work.

Man, I don't directly know. But I'd say the longer the better. My buddy has some shorter ones, shorter than 56, and we had to use long 2x12's coming from about the halfway mark to get my car up on them.

So again, the longer the better.

But hopefully someone with direct experience with those two can chime in for you.

My 56" worked fine with no additional lifting required. Drove it up, separated the two pieces giving me access from the front or sides. Very pleased with them. It is close but certainly no issue on level ground (shop floor).

Thanks. Don't plan on lowering the car.

I was going to order the 56 2-piece for 195.xx delivered from AutoAnything.com.

But then, saw that any invoice between $250-$500 by 12/31 you could get a factory mail-in rebate for 8%!! Advertised price for the 67" two piece was 339.99.

The 15% holiday discount and free shipping from Autoanything.com, plus the factory rebate will bring my delivered price for the 67" 2-piece race ramps down to $265.87 after the factory rebate! So for an additional $69 and change over the 56" ramps, I got the 67" ramps. They're a couple inches wider and a couple inches higher. Like 2012-1822 alluded to, maybe the longer the better (that's what she said, too!). Thing is, it appears the angle is still 10.75 degrees, the same as the 56" ramps. You just end up going 25% higher (2").

Sweet deal though. Best I can find for race ramps.

Thanks everyone for the advice and confidence in the product!

...you'll love the longer two piece deal. Advice: use a spotter when attempting to climb on the ramps.

Here's a link to the "8 or 10% off" rebate form from Brute Industries if anyone is going to buy the bigger 2-piece ramps. With the 15% off holiday discount and the free shipping, you can't beat the delivered price from Autoanything.com

Makes me worry about the hill assist crap now...get part way up the ramps and stop, then have to rev it to 4 grand to get it the rest of the way up!

I'm not sure how many miles are on your ZL1 it makes a difference. I have over 14K on my ZL1 and the HSA doesn't interfere anymore. It releases as soon as I accelerate.

Just pull the emergency brake handle up to the first notch and it will disable the hill start assist. I do it all the time, and it just slightly engages the e brake at that point.

Will the 67's work? I'm a big guy so the higher the better.
