My engine bay will never stay clean for more than a week. I love my hex vents, but the elements don't, lol.

I try to keep mine clean, but it's impossible during winter. I'd bump the engine sideways a tad and leave the boot.

Yeah the winter time I pretty much just spray it off and try not to let it get too bad.

There was that fake wood stuff down in the kitchen and dining room. I pulled it up only to find 3 layers of different styles of linoleum!!!! We haven't decided if we are going to put ceramic tile or go with cork floors.

Yeah, that's the good thing about many of the new laminents, you don't have to remove the old flooring, unless it's majorly f'd up. Good luck on the tile. I know MANY people that have put tile in their kitchens only to HATE it a year later. Too cold and chips easy WHEN you drop a pan on it.

Porcelain tile...if u chip it the color is all the way through. Clay or ceramic tile is NOT.

I put bamboo floors in my daughters room when we bought this house. It looks badass. I'll have to find a pic real quick and post it. I scraped all the popcorn off the ceiling and painted it also.
