Yeah, seems like a really great value to me

That's about the price you would pay to match the z28 in all performance aspects. Just those carbon brakes alone! Wowza

BTW.. the window sticker is still attached and she has 51 miles.
That new Z-28 is bad ass.
You have to add the GG tax too. I know for Michigan (because I bought from Becky) the sales tax is 6%.

If I lived in Austin, I know exactly where I'd be spending as much time as possible- COTA.

True, but the state more than makes up for it when you renew the registration...every year.

I think it's twice the car the SS is in many ways IMO, so yeah, I'm thinking it's a good value for what you get. Of course, part of that price is buying the legacy. But I still don't care what others thing, these won't be animals prowling the streets so much. That's where the SS and ZL1 shine.

Finally, a Camaro for every pocketbook and purpose!!

75K price already includes the GG tax.

Yeah, property taxes can hit you. (except the first year if you do a plate swap from an older Camaro like I did. Got a good first 10 months at a much reduced price). But doing the math, it's not that bad. A $75K car save you $4950 in sales taxes, but basing on the SS property taxes, let's just say a Z/28's taxes are $500 per year average (goes down as the car ages), you can own a Z/28 til 2024 for $50 more than paying the entire sales tax up front.

What would really suck is if you live where you have to pay full price taxes and property taxes on top of that.

That price seems about right for what you get. Now just waiting on it to be released so we can see what the magazines can do with it. Chevy really has given Camaro folks more than they could ever ask for. We have come a long way from just being happy that the Camaro returned to having all these awesome models to choose from.

Borrowed engine, removed alot of the stuff that costs money, not really sure that 75k is worth it here. Most of the gains are fromt he wheel/tire set up. They should have priced this in the high 50s low 60s, but that is just my opinion.

So when are you placing YOUR order Becky??

I want to be there when it gets delivered and go for a short ride with you in the Z/28 just like we did in your ZL1.

That's the only way I'll ever get a ride in one.

Well, they told us all along that it would be the most expensive Camaro.
By golly, they were right.

Makes my ZL1 one hell of a bargain.
