Yeah,
Keep those bad ass wheels you got there....

Who cares if you knock another 1/2 a second or so off your quarter mile time.

Looks AND power is where it's at

I tend to agree

Think I will just keep them on the car.

Was the loss of torque pretty steep? I know it was on my Noweeds.

I opened them up on a guy in an Eclipse messing with me and pulled in behind him when he went in the grocery store. He said I scared the hell out of him. hahahahaha He was a pretty cool guy and I complimented his car (even though I lied lol) he said he did not want any part of me just on sound alone.

There was actually an insignificant loss of hp/tq with the cutouts open on the dyno. I guess the cog drive made up for any loss of boost.

Sweet. Never dynoed mine with them open. But I know in my case I lose torque. I can feel it. Maybe mine just needs to have the tune adjusted for them open?

Sounds awesome. A simple google search shows alot of long-term quality issues with these and also QTP but both seem to have great customer service. Across the boards, not just on C5.

Understood. I asked the shop about this before I got them. The setup has been redesigned from the previous versions with motor issues. The motor has been beefed up and now it only takes about 3-5 seconds to open/close, whereas before it would take 30-40 seconds. Although there is only a 90 day warranty (I believe), previous shop experience was that if a motor issue arose it happened fairly soon (first couple of weeks). Every time I get in the car I will open/close them a couple of times. So far, I have had no issues!

From my perspective I would have to give the QTP cutouts a
Plus I like the clean install without the need for any additional exhausting as I have seen on previous versions!

I like them makes the car feel lighter and throws you back in the seat when launching! The only minus is they are noisey when cruising. How do you like your gears?
