Before ordering your dream camaro go to the dealerships and look at as many 5th gen camaro's you can to decide the color choice. Its the single most important decision you will make buying this car imo. You don't want buyers remorse for picking the wrong color from looking only at pictures on the internet you need to see them all in person.

+1 for the carbon fiber insert.
+1 for no sunroof for maximum headroom.
Also, if you have use for it, the nav system works great.

Pretty much what they said. I'm 6'5" and I have a sunroof (which is a must for me) and have no problems with headroom whatsoever, but with a 38" inseam, I'm all legs too.

Man you hit the nail on the head, I have had cars/trucks I loved but hated the color and vise versa. Colors that you think look great, then one day all of a sudden you can't believe you bought that color. After a few bad choices I have gone to just buying black all the time and was set to order my 2015 in black but now I am thinking Blue Ray or Red Rock. Both look awesome in person.

There are things you will learn reading the endless same type of posts on this forum from buyers remorse that if you make certain mistakes like other forum members did you will end up selling the vehicle down the road then you get what you really wanted. They are as follows. The car you really wanted, the trim level you like and the color you love. Break any of those it will will become an expensive adventure. Just my 2 cents.

-1 for the suede wheel/shifter. I looked at these in a 2013 1le and I didn't like em. Steering wheel was too soft for me, didn't like the feel. I guess I like leather more.

I really enjoy the feel of the suede, but each person has their own opinion. It would be wise to look at cars with and without it to see what you prefer.

As for the sunroof, it really depends on the person. I am around 6' 3", and I absolutely cannot get the sunroof. With the seat as low as it goes my head can nearly touch, and I don't have the sunroof. I was going to get it, but after test driving cars with it I decided it wasn't for me.

I ordered mine with every option except the micro sueded steering wheel and shifter. I didn't like the feel and think they will eventually wear out. I like the feel of the leather wrapped steering wheel. You'll going to love the Recaro seats they're extremely comfortable! Post up some pics when you get it.

If you haven't shopped the competition, then make sure that you get the best pricing available to you for an order. It can make a big difference in savings if you shop vigorously.

I had a very good experience in shopping for my ZL1, and I was able to get my desired color and option combination by doing my homework.

Good luck. PS: Recaros IMO are a must for a '14 ZL1 coupe. Right now its the only way of getting them. I hope GM will make the seat set available to the other owners, and at a reasonable price.

I think you can place the order now. I did. That way your in the front of the production line.

Edit: I ordered a 2SS 1LE, not a ZL1, but same production schedule.
