Progress of my M6 to 4l80e trans swap
I started my M6 to 4l80e transmission swap.
It wasnt hard to get the manual transmission out and all the hardware that went with it. As of right now I have the new B&M Quicksilver shifter installed, but still have to hook up the cable and reinstall the console and boot, and hook up all the wires for reverse lights, line lock, and converter lock up switch I installed the B&M trans cooler just have to wait to install the new trans before running the new stainless lines New complete upgraded built billet, full manual body valve transmission should arrive by the end of the week. Going with the vigilanty custom torq converter also.

You got a good start on things. Havr you checked your bumper clearance with that trans cooler location? I would also be a little concerned with air flow on that cooler. I know it has a fan , but its going to br pretty covered up.
I am in no way an expert...just asking questions and seeing things as an outsider.

I tried installing my cooler there as well but it wouldn't fit to my liking and like stated above the airflow wouldn't be the best. I did mine a little different and love how it came out

It fits perfect, I had to take the bumper support off the bumper. It hangs right in front lower grill perfectly.

Got any pics of yours. It hangs right in front of the lower grill looks like it would get alot of air. I couldnt find any other spot for it to fit because of my procharger air cooler.

I have a buddy that builds transmissons on the side for 20 years. He got a core an built it from there with all billet parts. I'm not using a shift controller because I'm using a full manual body valve, No computer shifting.
