Why 5.0 are faster?

Performance I Mean it will kick the camaros ass in any daily fun driving, but yes the camaro will win on a road course, but for the seat of your pants excitement driving the mustang wins hands down, seriously chevy fan boys just can't except it just like with the terminator cobras, your excuse back then was oh throw blower on a ls1 and it won't lose, yea no shit but you forget that your putting a 4.6 against a 5.7 but that doesn't matter right cause chevy rules all

Can you back that up with something?

Are we talking half a bumpers length advantage to 60mph, as was shown in a couple of auto magazine episodes?

The time it takes to sneeze would be the "edge" a present day Mustang GT with track pack has over a SS 1LE to 60mph.


Performance is not only about 0-60mph, as I wrote 100 times above.

That all said, yes, the Mustang is more fun(and easier) to drift, swing the tail out etc...If you are referring to THAT fun factor, then I agree.

In my opinion, the mustang is a better quality car, note the my opinion, the interior is better quality and it's ride is nicer, plus my More optioned mustang was a few 1000 cheaper them my camaro. It's pretty sad that you guys can't accept that the mustang wins the straight line battle, you go on mustang forums you never see them arguing that a camaro is slower on a track and try to come up with a thousand excuses why, track = camaro plain and simple, drag =mustang.get over yourselves

Because your in here spitting your attitude like your rolling in good gift the almighty camaro, and I'm actually not a mustang fan as you attempted to point out iv owned 6 camaros in my life but unlike yourself I give credit where it's due and the new Mustang to me is a better car, not to say I don't like my camaro but I'll pick the new style mustang over it if I had to choose. But I suppose that means you don't think I'm worthy

Camaro looks can't be beat! I would take the interior on my car over a mustang ANY DAY! I own a 2013 F150 and the interior looks like garbage. The camaro has much better technology and engineering in it than the 5.0 except the 5.0 motor lol. I still prefer the simple LS3! If you want a sexier and faster car then a 5.0, just buy a 2ssRS and do a cam and head package or a supercharger and you are set!

I'm reading the latter part of this statement more and more on here, but unclear whether it's a just a lie to divert the conversation, or just misinformation with good intentions.

When I type in on google mustang forums and the words camaro...or is camaro faster and mustang forums together, etc...many threads come up. There faster guys it's old news there are 1000 threads about it..... I ain't been on these forums long but ALOT of the guys and girls on here get butt hurt every time someone talks about the mustang and I don't see why like the guy above me said give credit where credit is do the things are fast they look good my big ass just can't fit in them lol

These "Why is the Z/28 so expensive?" and the "Why is the 5.0 GT faster than an A6 SS?" have got to be some of the most frustrating threads on this forum... SMDH

People will keep these alive till the point of frustration.

Personally I am making sure my SS 1LE is faster than even a worked 5.0 GT and I think the Z/28 is priced just fine.

Yea your talking the boss, not a gt, iv never read anywhere where anyone disputes a gt being slower around a track, and if you wanna go by that there are countless examples and tests done proving the mustang is fast in a line yet camaro owners continue to argue that it's not true
