we swapped the ls7 heads with black mast heads, and the bolts that held the rockers in place pulled out the threads in the head on cylinder 7{ aluminum heads}..had to pull the motor and send the heads back to have the threads made with steel inserts ..actual threads pulled out of head still wrapped around the bolt,we decided to send the motor out to check and make sure there was no other damage done from this happening...notced that cylinder 7 had never actually been running as there was no carbon on the exhaust port of the head..so we should get way more then the original 700rwhp after we get back from engine builder..since it was only running on 7 cylinders the entire time..meanwhile, we decided to go with longer skirt pistons as the block was showing a little wear with the shorter skirt mahle pistons from high boost, awaiting pistons to come back from chemical coating- block is honed and heads are done ..hopefully pistons will be back by end of month and we can pick up motor and reinstall..
