Group of how many are needed?

I heard that a VIN number was required to purchase them and that there is no available stock right now. Can someone confirm this?

Probably true on the VIN. Don't know about stock.

Good question about how many are needed for a group buy. Any idea about when they will become available.

So a group buy gets the price down to $2050 then you have to consider shipping to those of us not in your state. Love the seats but the price is still too high for me with shipping.

I'm going to PM Becky or Maureen and see what they say. I'll also ask if they can have them shipped directly to local dealer to save us some shipping costs.

Not sure if they'll be able to do that. They'd take one hell of a hit eating the shipping costs.

I understand but it never hurts to ask. If they can that would be ideal I think for most of us. I ended up emailing Maureen and CC'ing Becky. I'll let you guys know what they say when they email me back.

OK heres an update.... hairtrigger is right we tried to do a mock order last night and a VIN is needed. At this time they are only available for replacement for warranty issues, fire, theft etc.... Sorry for the miss information I was just passing along what I was told from the dealer.

Talked to my parts dude.

If I COULD get them, after taxes, a hair over 4K out the door for a set of seats from my dealership. Needs a VIN for a car that has them in it from the factory for warranty/insurance replacement. Pretty much what was said here. And they'll likely want the "old" seat back if it's warranty "claim".

Deal-killer right there. I'd rather buy a spare set of wheels/tires.
