How much do side curtain airbags cost to repair? The airbags deployed...

You're getting a deal then. I paid $1,500 for parts and did the work myself. Dealer quoted $4,000. I got the parts at a dealer discount through my buddy's shop.

There's only two side curtains, one on each side. I popped mine on the track. I had to replace the headliner, two side curtains, SDM (the air bag computer), both front seat belts. The SDM needs to be reprogrammed as well. If you are in a real accident, the sensors down inside the B-pillar may need to be replaced.

Here's my parts list for reference. The parts numbers change as time goes on so verify if you plan on buying anything.

Black headliner w/ sunroof (1) - 22768528

Side Air Bag Module AB
LH 22781125
RH 22781126

MODULE,AIRBAG SEN & DIAGN (1) - 13583431

Seat belts
Pass seat (1) - 19257789
Driver seat (1) - 19257787

Just curious. In there a fuse or something that can be pulled to prevent this for track days?

Thanks,

Jason

Yes , thereis a fuse that u can pull, can t remember for sure which one ,look into the owner manual.

As far as replacing parts....i had my curtains and my seatbelts blown too, i only replaced the 2 curtains and the 2 seatbelts, there is NO NEED TO CHANGE THE SDM.Do an experiment, order the curtains and seatbelts disconnect the battery, wait 2mins and replace the old ones with the new ones, after u hook up the battery and u turn the ignition on the system will test utself and will see all air bags are ok and u will be good2go!This is how I done mine...without reprogramming and without replacing sdm module or sensors.
