I don't think that will be a problem. The boot just barely touches so I figure the joint itself clears well enough.

If you cut the boot keep it clean. I wouldn't worry about it in my car... It stays pretty clean in there.

What are you looking to run with a shot to stay legal?

Well I'm planning on a belly pan soon so it shouldn't be too big a deal to keep it clean.

I slid mine down a bit more and that prevented it from rubbing the boot. That was with ARH though.

Ok, so I think I need to ask this question too so I don't screw this up. If I buy a cam package (with springs, push rods, seats, locks) from BTR it looks like the springs they give me are .660

I have considered going with the Night Fury cam and then buy all the springs and push rods from BTR. According to Lethal Racing they say to use .650 but when I go to BTR website and look at the .650 springs they are not the same as the ones given in their package (platnium springs and titanium retainers which would be the .660 kit).

So how do I know which one I need or does it not really matter? Im sure it matters somehow though. As far as pushrods I will probably just buy a couple of sets (7.4 and 7.425???) and which ever they don't use I will just return to BTR

I did that too and thought I would be good. It seems like it didn't do enough. I'll check it out today with a fresh perspective after sleeping on it. I'll post up what I come up with.

If it's 7.4 per Nick, run it. But I'd have them check anyways. 7.425 are for those that have milled the heads.

Looked at it again. That boot is close as hell but I don't believe it's actually touching. I'm just going to watch it for a while.

On another note. I had these things coated. Just how long is it going to stink like hell? LoL
