Supercharged SS Double Build SS/C7

Well, seeing that I am forbidden from posting in most of the forum , this is what has been going on with the cars. To much to type over the last 4 1/2 years so I'll pick it up now.

The Camaro went from just fixing the blown engine to an all out do over. Most in part to Matt hooking me up with parts and Dons overall direction. I'm very anxious to see the end results. The entire platform has changed.

Slowhawk built 416
Custom Diamond 10:8.1 pistons
Callies ultra rods
New Manley exhaust/intake valves
Slowhawk spec'd blower cam
Dragonslayer crank

Squash return style fuel system
ID 1000's

Vortech YSI w/10 rib
ATI Dampner

Alky Control meth kit with trunk tank

DSS 9" rear with CF driveshaft, 3.70 gear

Turbo 400 with trans brake and 2 step
B&M ratchet shifter

ADM 15" kit
Welds all the way around w/ 325 MT drag Radial

Pedders Supercar coilovers modified by Farks to accept a different spring

No weight reduction at this time but maybe down the road. It'll still be about 4300.

This project has started the rebuild already. There will be nothing left on the car from the previous setup. Don or Matt can clear up anything I left off, forgot, or got wrong. At this point all I remember doing is sending checks out every other day.

The C7 will be getting dropped of this Friday at Slowhawk. The starting plan is this:

ECS blower kit
Slowhawk spec'd blower cam
Alky Control Meth
Converter
Gears
Wheels (TBD) and drag radials
American Racing Headers / No Cats (Thanks Nick!!)

We will get some pictures and try to do a good job at documenting everything and all the track days. We'd like to have both cars at all the LSX races and some more events in between.

Always open to suggestions and opinions. We can never have to much info.

Stay Tuned!!

How much boost are you shooting for, and on what fuel?

I think around 18-20 psi. 93 and meth with some race gas mixed in for the track. Don is going to start slow and then work up to it.

Not sure on the C7.

The brand new LS3 block I bought when the motor blew in August. I intended to send the original block to ERL but had a difficult time getting it back and lost to much time.

I thought you were sending a block to ERL...Well the the stock block is plenty stout. I will most likely go LSX just so I can have the 6 bolt heads.

Can't wait to see how the new builds go. How you compare the centri cars to your old one.

That was the plan and the agreement but nothing was set out. It was just sitting there. My old block is now at my shop so ERL is def the next option.
