To buy or not to buy....That is my question..
Hey everyone, I need your opinion. I've been on this forum for better part of a year and I've been anxiously waiting for when I could afford a 1LE and join your ranks. Well that time has finally came. Take a look at the deal a dealer is offering me and let me know what you think.
Yellow 2014 1LE, 2SS/RS with dual mode exhaust, navigation and Recaro seats. Car has been at the dealer for the last four months in the show room but had just been recently moved to the garage. They are not storing it in the lot due to potential for the cold weather to crack the tires. Their vettes are stored there as well. The garage is huge! Oh and the car has 20 miles on it. Since I live in NJ I'll be storing the car in my garage until the weather hits around 60 degrees. So likely not until April. Here's the deal: MSRP: $46,780 GM incentives: -$500 Dealer incentives: -$3,500 invoice plus additional money thrown in. Out of the door price: $42,780. So what does everyone think? Really appreciate your feedback and look forward to becoming a 1LE owner. |

That's more than fair as they are basically digging in to the dealer hold back to just get rid of the car.

Do it! It's a good deal.
If you have the GM credit card, don't forget about the points that accrue towards purchase. I actually did forget but went back and had them applied retroactively (super nice dealer and finance dept).

Negative on the yellow. Lol. Wouldn't be my choice of color. Not a bad price though. Close to as much off as I got. If you have usaa you get like another $750 off. See if they will let you use supplier pricing.

Is that your only price? Regardless, it seems like a fair deal (Looks to be invoice -$500). You probably could do better if you shop around; You'd be surprised. I'd shop a handful of dealers locally within a 100 mile radius and compare the deal prices that you'd get, and then make a decision. You should base your decision on the price, reputation, and location of the dealer.
Good luck. Beware of any requests for cash down or inflated deposits for a deal.

Good deal, but if you ever go to trade it in, the dealer may give you a hassle because of the color. Yellow isn't one of the most popular colors on a vehicle. Your choice. Good luck.

Decent deal...
But if you plan on keeping her get extended warranty and FOR SURE wheel and tire warranty I have both and love the piece of mind - but they are additional charges AFTER price of car
