Dang that thing is clean! I've seen newer cars in worse shape. Nice color too!

I won't be getting rid of them. I really like the look. Today I received my Braille battery and put it and the dead as a doornail old battery on a scale. The old battery was not as heavy as I expected but it was dead and had to be changed. Accomplished that and took 9lbs off the front of the car forward of the front wheels. ![]() PS: The stock 5th Gen SS battery weighs 44lbs. Last edited by Apex Motorsports; 12-16-2013 at 06:48 PM. |

Thank you.
Just a little feedback on the Braille battery because I know there is some curiosity out there. Thus far it has functioned flawlessly. The car fires up immediately and strongly every time. It does not fit in the stock battery tray though so you do have to fab up a solution. I have it ghetto rigged right now but when I get a chance I am going to try to come up with something clean. I still have the BMR tubular K-member, upper and lower control arms, and Prothane engine and trans mounts sitting o the floor in my office. I am trying to decide if I want to go ahead and put them on or wait until I build a new engine. Hoping to do that this summer. |

I found a decent looking 94 Z28 locally for a very good price. Not near as clean or nice as yours, but for the price I could throw some vette wheels and tint on it, joy ride it for a month when it warms up, and probably sell it for $1500-$2K more than I'll have into it. Hmmmmm

Very nicely detailed 4th gen! I had an 02 35th Ann. LE that I sold last year to a guy in Texas. It had cnc ported heads and a Texas spd. MS3 cam along with some other goodies making 427 RWHP. I loved the CME with the GMMG chambered cb.

So I think I have decided to hold out on installing the K-member and control arms until I swap in the new engine. I have a hell of a parts list for everything I need to drop a LS3 in it. Now I get to start accumulating all of them. |
