^LOL

Just put the money away in the bank. Get yourself to an auto show to see one of the concept and you won't need help saving.

What...that's like a 10% interest rate...if that were true, I'd THROW money at it! Plus, most money markets have a minimum balance (I suppose it depends if it's a prime money market, etc.)...But seriously, show me where that is. PM me, actually. I work for a bank and I'd really like to know some more about that money market!

On a different note...saving up. TMANBBALL...I understand what you're talking about. I actually just got engaged and so I have to think in a different way. However, I'd really like to have my cake and eat it, too. I'd say, just take it one day at a time. If you truly want a new Camaro then assess your wants and needs. Take a look at your purchases...then think about all of your wants and needs. Are some of those needs actually wants? Do you really NEED [enter something here]? The new Camaro is going to be a truly amazing car and it will certainly be worth the wait! It will also be worth all the thing that you may have to sacrifice in order to have enough money to buy one. In fact, I guarentee you that it will far surpass the worth of the things you sacrificed. Good luck with saving! We're all right there with you!

Ya i know what you are saying about getting side tracked...

it seems like something is always coming up, like a cruise to Mexico ($1000), or my damn cat eating a fish hook ($1600) or a new TV ($1500). all that in the last 2 months...

I didn't have to go to Mexico, I could have had the cat put down for $50, and I could watch tv in non-HD and watch a dvd instead of blue-ray...

thats it... from here on out im making payments on my future camaro. wish me luck.

Isn't it something like $20 a month for every $1000 financed?

give me your money. plain and simple. or do like i have done when i absolutely have to save for something big. have the bank put a certain ammount of the money into a savings account that i created with my fiance from every pay check. however, the trick is the fact that neither one of us can access the money unless both are present.

715 is good but not great. way to brag. . .lol. If they give you 10% at that I'd love to see what they'd give someone with lets say a 790+ (which by that statement does not mean I have a 790+).
